We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various Corporate Services business initiatives. About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator directly supports daily HR Advisory essential functions by managing workflows and processing HR Service Desk tickets, including the processing of new hires, separations, job changes, and transfers, and also supports the HR Department's Talent Acquisition activities by performing entry level recruitment and administrative support.

As an HR Coordinator at Graham, you will:

  • Manage college recruitment, scheduling career fairs, speaking at local universities and candidate tracking

  • Execute Graham intern program, assess candidates for FT opportunities

  • Attend interviews for intern and new grad candidates

  • Manage unemployment claims

  • Maintain completeness and accuracy of digital employee files.

  • Complete all transactional tasks: Manager changes, Salary changes, Cost center changes

  • 30% Travel to project sites (Greater Seattle area)

  • Plan onboarding, execute HR/benefits portion, coordinate meetings and follow-ups with SME's.

  • Tracks down, verify and complete I-9 documents for all new hires (salaried and hourly)

  • Guide hourly employees in terms of benefit enrollment during first 30 days

  • Track all leaves: PFML, Sick day usage, unexcused absences

  • Handle or be entry conversation for employees discussing minor workplace issues/culture/performance. Escalate as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in HR.

  • 2-3 years experience in HR or administration; experience in the construction, engineering, or heavy manufacturing industry is an asset.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

  • Commitment to principles and practices related to confidentiality and sensitivity.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Hourly rate: $34-$38/ per hour
