The Coordinator is responsible for a variety of HR administrative and support duties for the building to which they are assigned. They ensure the steps of the associate life cycle are well executed.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the HR team in administering employee life cycle changes.
  • Maintain accurate associate records in HR platforms (e.g., Maxwell, Clear Company, Text Em all)
  • Maintain accurate temp records.
  • Maintain hardcopy associate files and update them; organize by type and status.
  • Respond to HR related inquiries and provide assistance (payroll, time off, benefits, etc.)
  • Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate recipient
  • Conduct new hire orientation and welcome temps to the company
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process (e.g, on boarding, phone screens)
  • Coordinate recognition events
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Support other functions as assigned including purchasing and operations

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Bilingual Spanish language, mandatory
  • Strong MS Office knowledge
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demeanor that is helpful, collaborative and aligned with company values
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Associates in Business Administration or relevant field, desirable; additional education in Human Resource Management is a plus.
