The HR Coordinator will assist HR Business Partners (HRBP) with all HR-related work designed to support internal client groups and will also support the Talent Acquisition (TA) team with the coordination of recruiting activities.

The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, will apply judgment and will think strategically to resolve problems and questions. By helping to proactively identify issues and design solutions, the HR Coordinator will have a positive impact on our employees and managers.


  • Provide administrative and technical HR support to HRBP/TA team, including internal processing, data analysis and research on employee-related processes.

  • Support HRBPs in preparing materials for annual processes including but not limited to compensation planning, performance/talent management and special projects and presentations. This includes maintaining and updating data, creating reports and analyzing data.

  • Under general direction of Sr HRBPs, conduct basic investigations in response to inquiries, allegations, disputes, etc. This includes taking notes, raising pertinent issues and questions as appropriate, and keeping accurate records.

  • Work with HRBP team and coordinate with legal resources to draft complex employee documentation including but not limited to offer letters and contracts, performance improvement plans, retention agreements, etc., ensuring that all conditions are properly included.

  • Support Talent Acquisition with scheduling candidate interviews. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to posting positions, sourcing candidates, screening candidates, managing and participating in interview processes, extending offers and negotiating with candidates as needed.

  • Maintain documentation/logs for various programs (staffing, severance, etc.) and support HRBP and Talent Acquisition function with various administrative tasks.

  • Manage process to request organizational changes for the HRBPs in the HRIS.

  • Proactively identify issues and streamline internal processes to improve the efficiency of HRBP/TA function. Work collaboratively with other HR functions to deliver these outcomes.

  • Research trends and provide analysis on HR issues & practices.

  • Maintain schedule and create agendas for regular HRBP/TA meetings.

  • Manage and/or participate in special assignments and projects as requested.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources or related field

  • 2+ administrative experience, preferably supporting HR functions. Insurance industry experience is a plus but not required

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including administrative duties and workflow processing

  • Employee/Customer relations mindset, demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience with HR Information Systems. SAP experience is a plus

  • Ability to understand and leverage technology to improve processes

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with necessary discretion

  • Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail

The HRBP serves as a consultant to management and employees on day-to-day HR related issues. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and seeks to develop practical and integrated solutions. The HRBP will half of the time be serving the Global L&amp;D Team with Leadership Development activities.</p><p>This position will specifically support and work alongside our US Commercial colleagues, position will reside in the Global HR function and have shared responsibility to US HR and Global L&amp;D team.</p><p>Our team achieves results by being driven, collaborative, and trustworthy.
