Seeking exceptional Senior Project Managers / Business Analyst to join Citi's HR Control and Compliance team to develop an end-to-end process that support Citi's Accountability Framework, which intends to more closely align employee misconduct and performance management concerns with performance assessment and compensation determination. To achieve this objective, HR will develop / enhance policy, procedures, standards, systems and controls that result in the identification and escalation of misconduct and performance concerns to HR, as well as guidance to support the consistent determination of severity to be assessed within context of a globally consistent disciplinary construct, including relevant consideration of aggravating and mitigating circumstances. Comprehensive coding structures and reporting will inform business partners with respect to areas of potential concern requiring more attention.
The successful candidate(s) will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders, including regional HR Professional Services teams, Global Functions Technology Services, Citi Policy owners, Independent Risk Management and Internal Audit.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead multiple complex projects and/or special assignments concurrently, using waterfall or agile project methodologies
Assemble and lead project sponsors, core project stakeholders and subject matter experts; evaluate project scope and drive project direction and document impacts
Identify critical stakeholders and deliver effective communication (written and verbal) to all levels including executive management
Act as a strategic thought leader from project conception through implementation
Drive project requirements; includes interviewing business process or products owners, authoring scope, gaining approvals, updating project scope changes
Manage, communicate and author changes to the requirements, which includes all scope increases, decreases or clarifications
Maintain and distribute meeting minutes, project summaries and project documentation. Deliver effective communication (written and verbal) to all levels including management
Communicate to executive teams utilizing dashboards, decks and/or material appropriate for senior leadership review and discussions; develop metrics/measurements as needed
Review IT design and technical documents to ensure they effectively meet business/operational needs based on project requirements
Track, update, escalate and communicate project issues, risks and gaps, and action items while driving identification of priority and project or program impacts
Develop and execute project plans, conduct follow ups and update project documentation in accordance with established processes
Through all stages of the project serve as the Business liaison which includes attending all project meetings, making key project decisions, identifying Business owners, escalating Business risks and issues, taking responsibility to deliver Business tasks
Able to perform any role or task that may be essential to completing a project or program
Serve as a Program Manager on large initiatives; includes overseeing other Business project Managers assigned to individual projects in the program
Develop broad Business subject matter expertise (SME); will be required at times to participate in additional projects or programs as a Business SME
Develop and maintain a strategic network across the organization which can be utilized to successfully drive projects
Participate and/or drive User Acceptance Testing(UAT), partner/3rd party integration testing, friendly-user-testing, pilot testing and production validation
Drive post implementation tasks, archive documents, participate in lessons learned meetings, project rollout and post- implementation product results tracking
Support new hire training and mentor support
5 or more years project management, business analyst or technical experience
2 or more years of experience at publishing, updating and communicated project requirements
2 or more years of experience at summarizing and clearly articulate issues and risks to project team and management
Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking
2 or more years of Agile experience
Experience in developing project plans, testing plans and mitigation plans
Experience managing projects in a regulatory required control environment
A strong understanding of business procedures, financial services, and technical terminology
Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills, must behave as an owner
People/Team management and large scale planning experience
Has organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
Clearly understands waterfall and agile practices and principles
Proficient in MS PPT,Word, Excel. Visio and SharePoint SPECIAL SKILLS (DESIRED - NOT REQUIRED)
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards, such as OCC standards
Knowledge of Process Management dashboards and developing new measurements
Previous experience as a Product Owner, Process Owner or Six Sigma/Lean Project Manager
