McDonald's is seeking a HR Consultant Project Leader to join our growing U.S. People team.
This new position will focus on leading several large scale and high profile "People initiatives" across the City of Chicago, now home to the new McDonald's World Headquarters. There will be a particular focus on building and scaling McDonald's world class education and learning programs with our Franchisee partners and Corporate Restaurants.
You will be reporting to the Chicago Field People Officer and collaborate closely with both internal and external partners including Corporate Restaurant leaders, Franchisees, local Community Based Organizations and Global HR COEs. Primary work locations will be in Oak Brook and the new Downtown HQ.
This role is based in Chicago, IL.
Is the primary liaison between Global and Field People initiatives that require orchestrating partnerships with Franchisees and Corporate Restaurants across the City of Chicago.
Supports end-to-end design, deployment and adoption of new and existing People initiatives like youth-targeted recruiting
programs, new education and learning platforms, Archways to Opportunities etc.
Monitors KPIs / success metrics for initiative testing to identify areas for improvement
Identifies and shares best practices to other People Leaders across the US on key People initiatives that start in Chicago.
Supports Legal, HR, Government Relations, Employee Relations and other stakeholders on City of Chicago labor legislation and associated impact to Franchisees and Corporate Restaurants.
