POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be headquartered from our U.S. Venture / U.S. AutoForce Ft. Lauderdale location at: 2200 W. Sunrise Blvd, Suite 160. Responsible for administering and implementing People Programs to include recruiting, compensation and benefits, performance management, team member relations, safety and employment practices. Ensures company policies and procedures are in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulation. Desired candidate will be fluent bi-lingual in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance to peers with the latitude of established company policies

  • Recommend changes to policies and procedures that affect individual or global locations

  • May lead smaller scale projects or play a significant role in larger projects

  • Provide advice and recommendations on appropriate organizational structure and staffing

  • Actively recruit for open positions by preparing postings and ads, conducting job fairs, networking, and running appropriate checks as required. Advise supervisors on candidates for best match and hire

  • Provide support for workers compensation, unemployment compensation, wage and hour inquiries, OSHA, DOT, FMLA, USERRA and related issues

  • Provide information to team members regarding corporate benefit programs, payroll inquiries and career development opportunities

  • Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to team member relations, and report necessary or suggested changes to management

  • Coordinate and manage investigations related to harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, theft, etc., acting as lead investigator

  • Assist supervisors to assure a safe and compliant work environment

  • Provide communication and guidance on loss prevention/risk management issues

  • Lead people resources projects to include Workday optimization to include implementation of upgrades and new functionality, creating user training, report writing, and system performance maintenance, as required

  • Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and relocations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Human Resources laws and ability to grasp company HR procedures and processes for multiple locations

  • Minimum of 4 years of related recruiting experience, Bachelors Degree in HRM is preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment, benefits, safety, compensation systems, team member relations, unemployment, and worker's compensation

  • Possesses high integrity, loyalty, compassion, and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information

  • Good decision maker who is well organized and can prioritize and plan ahead

  • Ability to work in a diverse organization where group interaction, teamwork, and relationships are critical to success

  • Excellent communicator and listener who is assertive yet personable and flexible

  • Knowledge of HRIS, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Occasional travel required to support business operations, up to 40-50% of the time

Those improvements cut across HR processes, organizational structure, enabling technologies and the use of data & analytics to drive business alignment, maximize organizational and HR performance and establish a culture focused on optimization Responsibilities: * Working with employee benefit brokers, HR Technology Vendors, and benefits administration. Strong knowledge of employee benefits and the ACA. Need someone with critical thinking and leadership skills. * Working closely with the corporate trainers at USI to come up with a curriculum to educate sales and account management teams on how engage clients around HR technology. * Fluency on HR Technology landscape, positioning of the consulting services and client RFP and implementation process. * Consulting on overall strategy to address the client's needs; manage the scope, quality, timeliness and budget of multiple client deliverables related to HRIS and Benefits Implementation * Defining the role of an account manager in supporting clients through benefits administration project. Including specifics around how teams can best engage in HR Technology projects. * Formulation, and socialization of business strategy for the practice through development of the Business strategy and plan spelling out how USI will work on client HR Technology projects providing a consistent message and incorporating best practices for creating structure for the field organization. * Establishing a database of HR Technology vendors in order to share the most up to date intelligence of HR and Benefits technology vendors across the enterprise focusing on pricing and functionality. * Incorporating vendor market data into field training, or otherwise cascading market information via regular updates, or meetings as needed. * Build a formal HR Technology RFP process to set guidelines which can also be leveraged by account managers that wish to run their own RFP process. * Ability to find and foster national relationships with HR solutions providers to support the needs of middle market clients (100-500 employees). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * 4+ years' related experience especially in Employee Benefits Consultancy, or HR Technology and Advisory * Consulting experience strongly desired * Knowledge of the HR function & processes * Experience in one or more of the following areas: functional configuration and implementation of SAP HR, SaaS, and various HRIS solutions * Excellent communication and presentation abilities * Strong client relationship management and analytic skills * Ability to partner with and track HRT vendors and implementation firms * Ability to train and interact with producers in the field, company leadership, and high profile clients * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment * Ability to partner and lead teams to deliver project objectives; ability to work independently and on a team * Experience in driving assessment and opportunity identification of data and financial analysis Job ID: 18416 USI Fort Lauderdale FL
