HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for supporting employees and managers working within our Olathe-based Sales and Growth functional business groups. The position formulates partnerships across the global HR/People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the culture, values, and objectives of the organization.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners and consults with local leadership, providing HR guidance and support that's aligned to the goals and objectives of the Sales (internally referred to as Commercial) business group. This position also supports other locally aligned business groups, including the Growth function that includes Marketing, Pricing, and E-Commerce.
Provides the regional management with feedback and collaborates with the CoE (Centers of Excellence) members regarding HR policies and practice. Considers future implications and opportunities for improvement on current HR policies and practices.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and monitors performance. This includes conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations as necessary.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with in-region and global HR teams to ensure legal requirements are met and compliance is maintained.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure that policies are understood, properly implemented, and consistently followed.
Works closely with management and employees to champion TVH's culture, improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, talent management and management to identify and evaluate employees for potential promotions and transfers, ensuring the right talent is placed in key positions to drive organizational success.

Travel Flexibility: While this position typically does not require travel, the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed is expected.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience working with talent management strategy and resolving complex employee relations issues. Prior experience as an HRBP supporting sales and growth functions (Marketing, Ecommerce, Pricing) is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential (or equivalent) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
