Summary:
As a strategic partner, the HR BusinessPartner aligns business objectives with employees and management at thedesignated manufacturing facilities, and serves as a consultant to the localmanagement teams on Human Resource related issues. The successful HRBP will actas an employee champion and change agent, assess and anticipate HR-relatedneeds, communicate needs proactively and work in collaboration with corporateHR, and seek to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnershipsacross the HR functions to deliver value added service to local management andemployees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintainsan effective level of business literacy about the facilities' financialpositions, their mid-range plans, their cultures and the competition.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, orequivalent work experience.

  • Master's Degree, or HRCI and/or SHRM professional designationpreferred.

  • 5-7 years of multi-site, progressive Human Resources& Labor Relations experience.

  • 3 years' experience in union environment.

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.

  • Relevant manufacturing and/or mining industry experience a plus.
