SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Human Resource Business Partner to join our NEXT team. This role is integral to our success, as it will support company growth by fostering relationships with the local management, key business stakeholders and employees. The successful candidate will drive HR initiatives, and provide day-today HR support leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a thorough understanding of HR processes, practices, and policies. The position will be based in Brownsville, TX and will report to Sr HR Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local management, key business stakeholders, and employees to understand and address HR needs and challenges.
Drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives and promote a positive work culture, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and retention.
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on various HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary actions, HR investigations and policy interpretation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance HR programs and processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Lead efforts to attract, onboard, and develop top talent, including partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participating in the recruitment and selection process.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the HR function, implementing best practices and innovative solutions as appropriate.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering insights and recommendations to support organizational needs.
Support and conduct necessary training events throughout the year to keep employees continuously informed and engaged.
Support other initiatives, such as employee pulse surveys; diversity, equity and inclusion programs including EEO data collection; HR data and reports.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum/preferred experience required for the position:
Minimum 8 years of experience required in human resources. 10 years of experience is preferred. This could include a combination of HR generalist experience, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and data analysis.
Good knowledge of Federal and State HR employment laws, labor and employee relations and Human Resource (HR) policies and practices.
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite. Advance Excel skills including use of vlookups, xlookups, pivot tables, charts and graphs, etc.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
