Provide Human Resources support for executives and their leadership teams who are responsible for implementing strategy for a line of business or staff area. Drive the implementation of the HR components of a Human Capital plan. Support leadership development, performance management, retention of top talent and climate improvement efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Partner with business leaders ensuring HR initiatives align with business needs.
2.Drive the implementation of the HR components of a Human Capital plan. Focus on process facilitation and HR resource mobilization and coordination.
3.Utilize full breadth of HR knowledge to manage complex employee relations issues and/ investigations to effectively guide and counsel employees and business line management. Conduct appropriate investigations and make recommendation for resolution.
4.Support leadership development by implementing development plans for client leadership team. Research available development / training opportunities to align with needs.
5.Partner with HR Partners in the design and implementation of compensation, benefit, training, and recruitment programs.
6.Develop and implement employee retention tactics.
7.Monitor HR product and service offerings across the organization to ensure consistent application.
8.Define and disseminate HR best practices throughout the organization.
9.Ensure compliance with all employment and labor laws.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of federal and state laws governing employment and labor (EEO, ADA, Age Discrimination, NLRB, etc.)
Ability to influence and negotiate for resolution
High level communication skills: written - verbal - listening.
Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
Computer user ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet.
Ability to be trained and quickly become competent in use of company's Recruitment software.
