Responsibilities:

  • Provide Human Resources (HR) support to employees and leaders within assigned business unit specifically partnering with leaders to translate business strategies and objectives into tangible human capital plans and executing against those priorities

  • Address the critical elements of organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and analytics, talent and performance management strategies, the people dimension of transformation and change management, employee relations and the lead for local implementation of global HR initiatives

  • Help improve key components of change leadership, including leadership development, process or technology adoption, and culture

  • Proactively consult with management on HR topics and provide coaching and support to management around key people management activities including performance management, employee relations, talent management, learning and development, hiring and recruitment

  • Anticipate, identify and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations to gather all facts and make appropriate recommendations, seek guidance from the HR Director and legal counsel as appropriate and maintain detailed documentation to protect the interests of the company and mitigate risk

  • Partner with the shared service center and centers of excellence including compensation, benefits, talent development and others to implement corporate HR programs and initiatives

  • Review corporate HR programs for fit with the business unit's objectives in a timely manner and share data/make recommendations to improve programs or implementation of plans

  • Manage personnel costs by tracking headcount, helping to ensure the business hires top talent within budget and compensation decisions are approved through the appropriate channels

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of progressive HR generalist or related HR experience in a fast paced, growth oriented global business; preferably within a software and/or global matrix company

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; PHR or SPHR certification preferred

  • Experience with several HR processes including talent management, compensation, benefits, training & development, and performance management

  • Confident and experienced in dealing with various types of employee relations issues, managing employee performance, coaching managers, and conducting internal investigations

  • Experience supporting various functions such as sales, professional services, customer support, operations, marketing and/or finance

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office S

Position Overview Serves as a Business Partner to multiple lines of business, at the company, site or division level to assist with the implementation of corporate human resource policies. Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues. Resolves employee relations issues through a systematic approach. Assist senior management in the development of solutions through cultural and process perspective organizational development. Work with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and assists in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., employee engagement, salary reviews, bonus awards, equity grants, workforce planning, and organizational changes). Provides feedback and insight to corporate level HR functions. Responsibilities * Supports team members and managers in a single line of business/single site or similar scope to determine methods and procedures for the appropriate course of action. * With some oversight, ensures the company is compliant with all country, federal, state, and local HR laws and participates in audits and confirms accuracy of data. * Provides advice and counsel in assigned area regarding management practices, performance management, organizational effectiveness general employment practices, recruitment and staffing, compensation, team member development, employee relations, compliance, workers compensation, health and welfare benefits, HR operations and payroll in support of business objectives. * Provides feedback and advice to leaders to help ensure fair and consistent administration of compensation practices throughout the organization, including but not limited to merit increases, promotions, Restricted Stock Awards and bonuses with senior leadership and possibly Vice President level. * Partners with the business leaders to understand their strategic objectives, supports and executes on people initiatives such as engagement, change management, leadership development, recruitment, retention strategies, and organizational effectiveness in support of the business objectives within their assigned area. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree: No degree specified; combination of relevant professional training and /or experience in lieu of degree accepted * Typically: Minimum 5-7 Years Relevant Exp * Society of HR Management (SHRM) Certification Preferred * Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) Preferred * Competencies: Business Advisement, Planning & Organizing, Business Acumen, Gaining Commitment and Managing Conflict, Decision Making, Customer Loyalty, Work Standards. * Skills/Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways. Having ownership of a client group/division/line of business, applies knowledge to meet goals, maintain relationships, propose opportunities to expand the business.
