Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a business HR partner to assigned leaders, functioning as an HCM consultant on business and HR-related matters. Deliver HR services that align with organizational expectations and culture, translating the brand effectively.

  • Guide short and long-term decisions within the business unit, utilizing your knowledge of workforce planning and development, along with sound succession planning processes. Provide support for refining or developing new organizational design and implementation of restructures.

  • Research and develop creative solutions to help assigned areas meet business objectives, utilizing your depth of knowledge and expertise in HR and business strategies.

  • Provide effective performance management guidance to drive business results, coaching leaders on cultural standards and reflecting them in practices and processes.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

  • Design and deliver broad learning initiatives to build capability in alignment with key HR priorities and capability-building efforts.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in organizational development consulting, resolving complex employee relation issues, and developing, facilitating, or leading human resources functions and initiatives.

  • Experience leveraging a change management methodology to help leaders achieve business outcomes preferred.

  • Experience in a complex healthcare organization; Change management (e.g. Prosci), SHRM-CP, -SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are a plus.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

  • Demonstrated consulting skills and ability to implement organizational strategies for addressing complex business challenges, including change/succession management, workforce planning, leadership development, and organization design.

  • Knowledge and expertise in multiple human resource disciplines and business practices, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee/union relations, diversity, performance management, regulatory compliance, and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build/foster strong trusting relationships, influence leaders, use negotiation skills, and develop solutions to achieve results.

  • Ability to analyze data and recommend appropriate actions in alignment with the people strategy.

  • Must be self-directed, self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
