HR Business Partner Manager
Location: Bridgewater, Virginia
Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner Manager partners with the SVP, Human Resources, to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for Dynamic's human resources services, policies, and programs. This position guides decision-making processes and positively impacts the results of the organization by recruiting, retaining, developing, and rewarding the industry's best talent in a manner that is cost-efficient and compliant. This position completes multiple and/or large projects to lead the development, enhancement, and innovation of Dynamic's Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Manager has project management and performance management responsibilities for the group and works closely with the HR Operations Manager and Total Rewards Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the organization in a variety of HR functions including recruiting, retention, succession planning, performance management, compensation, benefits, engagement, legal compliance, employee changes, communications and employee relations
Lead, direct and mentor HR Business Partners ensuring team has a clear understanding of organizational goals and actions needed to support the goals
Provide direct HR Business Partner support to the Corporate business unit and other assigned areas
Collaborate with the SVP, Human Resources and respective client groups to design organization structure, business process and systems that support their strategic goals
Work to create a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce
Guides managers in areas such as benefits, compensation, training, recruiting, workforce planning, conflict management, performance management, etc.
Ensure that all policies and procedures are in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and are consistently administered
Implement short and long terms plans to ensure performance and innovation within Dynamic's Human Resources department
Proactively suggests and promotes processes that have positive return on investment and deliver value to internal and external customers
Monitor key metrics (i.e. turnover, attendance, etc.) to assist the location and/or functional area in effectively managing their workforce to maximize productivity and overall effectiveness
Demonstrate solid business acumen and ability to make HR decisions that ensure a positive impact on the bottom line
Create a motivational environment of accountability
Foster teamwork at all levels and cross-functionally
Act as a catalyst for change with the ability to positively influence others to make difficult decisions
Job duties require interaction and presentations with VP/Directors or Officers and must be able to interact with the highest levels within the company
Maintain confidentiality concerning personnel actions, legal actions, termination and organizational plans.
Lead continuous improvement efforts within HR in collaboration with other HR leaders
Perform other projects as assigned

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline required
5-7 years' experience as a human resources generalist , including interviewing, performance management, HRIS systems and leading others
Experience in partnering with business leadership required
High degree of professional ethics, sense of fairness, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop effective internal and external business relationships
Experience in an office setting handling sensitive and confidential information
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize MS Office Products and HRIS (Dayforce preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment meeting tight deadlines
Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements
Strong project/time management skills
Previous experience leading/mentoring a team
Detail oriented, well organized and able to multitask
Negotiation skills and the ability to influence others through collaboration
Ability to travel as needed (minimal travel expected)
