The HR Business Partner oversees HR support for the Kering Americas Regional Corporate and Shared Services population across multiple states throughout the US.
This role serves as the HR Business partner by providing expertise and partnership on a wide range of HR solutions, including building processes and empowering the Kering Americas team across Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Organization Design, Policy Implementation and Rewards & Recognition Programs. In addition to leading strategic global initiatives, that drive Organizational Effectiveness, performance, accountability and drive change in a diverse and inclusive environment.
This role is accountable for representing the Americas in the Global Centers of Excellence (CoE) Communities, comprised of Brand and Kering Corporate CoE, across Talent Acquisition, Performance and Talent Management. This requires relaying key Regional information to the Group during the decision making process and implementing the Global CoE vision in the Region with Brand partners.
Be a central lead/partner, at Group Level, representing the Americas within the Center of Excellence across: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management Learning & Development. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Represent the Americas in compliance, business needs and culture, on behalf of the Brands as well as a stakeholder
Build partnerships with Regional Brand HR teams as well as Group Global and Brand CoE teams.
Building Talent Acquisition Pipelines across critical roles including leadership level,
Lead monthly Regional Talent Meetings across all Brand
Proactively identify local Learning Development needs through relationship building with Brands, identify providers, costs and implement.
Proactively act as a change agent in the Region for all changes.
Direct, implement, maintain and administer recruitment/staffing strategies.
Work with managers to (1) Define candidate qualifications, (2) Identify sources and implement recruitment plan, (3) Conduct screening interviews, (4) Obtain references in accordance with procedures, and (5) Prepare necessary documentation.
Oversee all corporate recruitment activities to ensure effective quality, timing & cost of staffing.
Liaise with Kering counterparts to share job openings and support mobility between affiliates
Select and effectively manage search firms to ensure quality results. Negotiate fees and manage budget.
Build a database of "talent" by functions at all levels through constant recruiting and sourcing to reduce dependency on search firms.
Track talent on regular basis.
Represent Kering Group at recruiting events (including graduate recruitment)
Maintain and supervise coordination and integration of new employees.
Develop and support programs that infuse talent into the organization
Ensure quality mobilities through evaluation of candidates to meet position requirements and performance criteria.
Manage and administer the Corporate PPD process (annual performance appraisal and merit review).
Develop and direct the implementation, maintenance and administration of Corporate succession planning/development strategies
Serve as liaison between management and employees in need of development.
Establish and maintain guidelines/communication for development plans.
Identify talent within the region and monitor individual development plans for key contributors to ensure their growth in the company in conjunction with Functional Leadership.
Work closely with Regional HR Leaders of other to maximize succession planning in the Americas.
Identify key training needs, and work with Global CoE's and Leadership to develop and implement adequate training plans.
Ensure all employee relations issues are managed effectively and consistently:
Investigate and provide guidance to managers and employees regarding employee related issues.
Coach and educate managers and employees on human relations skills (evaluations, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, communication, and teamwork)
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Ensure compliance with Kering policies and procedures and their communication to the employees.
Ensure impartiality with regard to supporting all parties
Support and coach line managers within designated client group on all aspects of People Management ensuring that high quality, appropriate advice is given, encouraging line managers to take ownership of their people issues, developing confidence in people management.
Ensure alignment and consistency of policies and practices throughout the region.
Coach line managers in the implementation of performance management initiatives driven from the Talent CoE and partner with the line managers to continuously identify and develop talent.
Create a culture of support, transparency, collaboration and trust
Bachelor's degree required
Advanced degree/certification a plus
Minimum of 5-8 years of HR Generalist/Business Partner experience with experience in retail industry a plus
Knowledge of federal, state and local labor relations laws, regulations and practices in a multi-state
Ability to collaborate/coach with business leaders and international HR Partners to facilitate problem resolution & alignment
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to be resourceful, to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills.
Strong ability to drive for results without compromising ethics and quality.

Proven track record in sourcing (internally and externally) and recruiting candidates
