Role Description: CoStar Group is currently seeking a HR Business Partner II in our Richmond, VA office to support our fastest growing product, Homes.com! The primary objective of this role is to support and coordinate essential HR functions. Areas of oversight and job focus will include administration of HR programs, HR transactions, and provide HR data and analytics. In this role, he/she will be tasked with working on all facets of HR and people strategies that enable business objectives and goals

Responsibilities:

  • Support full lifecycle employee and HR processes - merit/bonus, promotions, talent & performance review support, and engagement survey action planning

  • Review and approve transactions via HRIS including PTO requests, offers, transfers, terminations, etc.

  • Review, input and track corrective actions in Workday

  • Respond to employee questions and resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Consolidate and analyze data / metrics for review with Director, HRBP (includes ad-hoc reporting requests)

  • Support leave / accommodations / immigration requests

  • Conduct exit interviews and review themes/trends with Director, HRBP

  • Make process improvement recommendations, and share ideas to implement

  • Support additional projects as needed (process documentation, RIF support, organizational movement, etc.)

  • Continuous learning - Invest in learning / understanding specific businesses, teams and roles

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College

  • 2+ years HR experience required

  • Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in excel and Office suite required

  • Experience producing results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Basic understanding of the leaves (FMLA) and accommodations (ADA) processes

  • Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgement

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR Generalist/HRBP experience

  • Experience working within the Workday HRIS platform

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Self-directed and able to balance multiple time-sensitive deliverables and effectively prioritize, organize, and manage time.

  • Strong client-service focus and ability to build and manage relationships across different levels and functions
