This position will be part of SEA's corporate CE & Corporate Services People team, and tasked to provide HR coordination and support the Corporate Services Customer Care HR team, as well as directly support assigned client teams within the organization under the supervision of the HR Business Partner.
Our qualified candidate will be responsible for providing HR Generalist support to Customer Care HR Business Partner and may support client teams as needed. Duties will include activities across HR functions, including benefits, employee relations, performance management, staffing, and compensation per Samsung Electronics America (SEA) policies.
Role and Responsibilities
Provides coordination in the planning and implementation of various organization-wide programs and initiatives for a specified business unit within the SEA.
Leads and implements business cycle project plans; for example Annual Cycle; evaluates project status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve team effectiveness.
Researches, evaluates, and interprets trends and emerging human resources issues that impact the efficiency of our processes.
Support HR Business Partner in the work related to managing and maintaining employee relations within supported region to monitor employee engagement.
Participates in the development, coordination, and implementation of changes and/or improvements with our HRIS and/or other management systems and ensures the HR team is aware.
Update and manage organizational alignment and cost center alignment within our HRIS system.
Provides reports and tools to help HRBP team facilitate business cycle projects and ensure consistent delivery to our clients.
Develops and implements training and other programs as requested.
Work closely with the HR Service Center to stay current with WorkDay. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Makes decisions within guidelines and policies; escalates issues and concerns appropriately and in a timely manner
Manages headcount planning including activities tied to Sr. Leadership read-outs, reporting and analysis, and on-going efforts of workforce strategy planning.
Skills and Qualifications

Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience
