Description & Requirements
The regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for US and Canada will be a key advisor to the business on all HR matters related to employment regulations, employee relations, HR policies and procedures and workplace engagement.
What you will be doing:
Consult regularly with management and provide guidance to drive change and execute new business initiatives
Assess and anticipate human resources-related needs.
Consult on workforce planning as well as plan function or department restructuring in partnership with the managers and functional HRBPs.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business leaders and collaborate with colleagues in the human resources to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Execute HR programs and communications focused on driving employee engagement in US and Canada.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements in US and Canada related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed.
Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures related to employment law, employee relations, and disciplinary actions.
What you will likely bring:
In-depth understanding local employment laws and regulations in US and Canada
Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and conduct sensitive investigations.
General understanding of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational analysis and development, employee relations, talent management, staffing and country and local employment laws.
Self-starter with high emotional intelligence. Takes initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and makes continuous improvement recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Ability to operate in a matrix organization.
What could set you apart:
3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
PHR Certification preferred
