Remedy is honored to have been selected to support an innovative international manufacturer as they embark on a vital search for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their dynamic team in Elmira, NY. This HR Business Partner coordinates organization-wide efforts to support data-driven development of performance management and quality improvement programs, conducts full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent and maintains effective programs for retention, training, promotion and succession planning. The HRBP will also provide advice and counsel to managers, supervisors and employees as to Human Resources policies and procedures. Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Direct Hire/In-Person

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000, depending upon prior expertise

Hours: Days

Essential functions for this HRBP will include:

  • Support the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership/organizational development
  • Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership for policy implementation.
  • Research and assist in the development of training calendars/programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements.
  • Develop effective sourcing, recruitment and talent management strategies
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
  • Conduct presentations and training.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment; Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations and maintaining records

We're actively seeking HR Business Partners with the following background profile:

  • Bachelors’ degree, preferably in Human Resources, or Organizational Management is required. Master’s Degree and SHRM certification (equivalent) highly preferred.
  • 7-10 years’ of related experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Solid technical skills to include expertise in Microsoft Suite : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge around organizational development, performance/talent management, succession planning and HR strategy
