Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner within our Research Models and Services business located in Wilmington, MA.

The HR Business Partner will manage the development and administration of local and corporate personnel activities, programs, policies and procedures, coordinate recruitment, retention, employee relations, workers' compensation, affirmative action and personnel record-keeping activities, as well as administer corporate benefits and compensation programs.

The following are minimum requirements related to the HR Business Partner position.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in human resources management, business administration, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years related experience; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

  • Experience resolving employee relations issues.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook as well as HRIS software and payroll systems (i.e. PeopleSoft, SAP, and ADP).

  • Demonstrated ability to earn trust as a consultative partner

  • Previous experience with local, state and federal employment regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidential and privacy safeguards

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a complex, high-paced environment

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Drive Leadership Development Initiatives for the organization * Coach the senior leaders, providing feedback on personal and leadership effectiveness. * Work with leaders to define and communicate vision, mission, charter, goals, objectives and performance metrics. * Focus on developing the next generation leaders looking across ADI . * Develop and refine workforce plans for assigned groups * Understand the existing competencies and talent needs of the various assigned groups and identify and address talent issues before they impact the business. * Work with the leadership team to put in place proactive talent management plans (skills/leadership development and Succession Planning) Partner with the Corporate HR functions to develop and implement solutions that meet group objectives. * Work with the Talent Acquisition team to execute workforce plans per agreed schedule. * Partner with leaders and HR Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to deliver compensation, performance management, talent review, and talent development programs for the business unit, including follow on actions as needed. * Perform workforce analysis utilizing available data such as: employee survey results; workforce demographic data; retention statistics etc. to identify issues and trends in the business and align with Peers and SME's to implement best practices and solutions to identified issues. * Collaborate with Employee Relations to deliver HR services to our employees that align with ADI's business needs, employee's interests and local legislation.
