The Headlines:
In the role of HR Business Partner at Coors Distributing Company ("CDC") working in Denver, CO you will be part of the CDC HR team and support client groups within CDC by providing exceptional employee and leadership support, driving and executing all people-related processes. You will broker the services of the HR centers of excellence and client group leaders in areas such as integrated people management, compensation, organizational effectiveness, benefits, etc. to implement and execute HR initiatives that support the business strategy.
This position reports to the HR Director at Coors Distributing Company and works closely with leaders and employees within Operations and cross-functional partners at Molson Coors. CDC is a subsidiary of Molson Coors and employs about 470 people (~60% hourly and ~40% salaried).
The Responsibilities:
Support the HR Director in the development, implementation, and maintenance of all people processes and programs throughout CDC
Partner with leaders and employees to advance our diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that allows our people and business to grow and thrive
Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to leaders within CDC to ensure proper support on employee relations issues
Ensure timely completion of investigations into employee relations issues and identify opportunities to further advance manager/employee relationships
Provide guidance for compliance & adherence to/with CDC policies and employment law
Apply performance and development expertise to deliver better ways to develop employees and raise the bar on performance
Lead and ensure utilization and effectiveness of integrated people management processes to grow talent, drive performance, and improve employee engagement
Ensure personal credibility and impact through influencing others, leading people, and communicating clearly
Develop insights from people data (engagement survey, exit interview, etc.) to inform talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried workforce
Support L&D efforts and initiatives, including facilitation or creation of material to large and small work groups
Create and maintain relationships with HR team at Molson Coors through collaboration and teamwork
The Other Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of HR experience, including employee relations
Strong generalist experience with a focus on leadership-level partnerships
Working knowledge of federal and state law/regulations (Colorado) relating to the human resources field
Demonstrated problem solving skills, for example, identifying and diagnosing performance gaps and recommending solutions to close these gaps
Demonstrated experience in effectively influencing and leading a positive employee relations climate while maintaining a union-free philosophy and culture
Proven ability to create presence in the business and apply advocacy skills to position HR as a strategic business partner
Ability to influence at various levels of the organization
