Responsibilities

WHY IS THIS ROLE VALUABLE

The HR Business Partner Business Partner for April Housing responsible to support our people strategy and help align it with our overall business objectives. As a key member of our HR team, you'll contribute to shaping our company culture, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational and performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives.

HOW DO YOU ADD VALUE

  • Support Talent Management: Assist in implementing performance management processes, including talent reviews, assessments, and talent development programs. Support succession planning efforts for key positions and help develop individual development plans.

  • Organizational Design: Partner with leadership to assess and recommend improvements to organizational design, including spans and layers, to support business growth.

  • HR Systems & Analytics: Support the implementation and user adoption of our HCM (Workday) to help scale the business for continued growth. Deliver HR intelligence that meaningfully supports leaders in running the business.

  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives. Assist in assessing employee engagement (e.g., eNPS) and retention, recommending appropriate actions. Help promote and champion our company culture and values.

  • Talent Acquisition: Support the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, offer generation, and onboarding. Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to drive positive outcomes.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities, goals, and outcomes. Conduct data analyses to support equitable compensation decisions.

Qualifications

Your experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of HR generalist or business partner experience including employee relations, recruitment, training and development, compensation, and benefits programs, as well as application of legal and government compliance guidelines. LIHTC industry experience is a bonus.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in direct compensation planning with a business unit.

  • A track record of success in team-oriented environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.

  • A collaborative, dedicated team player with a sense of ownership.

  • Empathy and relatability to the needs and concerns of employees at all levels.

As of the date on which this job advertisement is posted, the Company anticipates that the pay range for this role is $148,000-$168,000 (this represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's pay range for this position). Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
