Principal Financial Group is currently seeking top talent within our Human Resources community! As an HR Business Partner Analyst, you will play a key role in the planning, design, approval and implementation of HR and/or business unit processes and projects!

Some examples of things you'll do:

  • Using strong analytical skills, capture and analyze data from multiple sources to identify talent trends.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to formulate strategic recommendations grounded in data that focus on HR metrics.

  • Assist with planning and managing of annual HR processes such as the Employee Opinion Survey, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Succession Planning and Talent Dashboards.

  • Communicate any updates or changes regarding HR process and reports to HR BP team.

  • Ability to work in a global, matrix environment as this role supports HR BP team members around the world.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 4+ years of related experience required

  • Broad understanding of human resources, project management and data analytics

  • Strong written and oral communication skills along with planning and analytical skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (ability to use v-lookups and pivot tables to manipulate and organize data)

The ideal candidate will be confident at the strategic level and motivated to deliver at a tactical level. The Senior HR Business Partner will focus on developing and implementing an HR strategy with business leaders to ensure that these strategies are aligned with business objectives. This HR Leader will partner with the various business leaders (Senior Leaders VP's and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. The individual in this role will assess the human resources needs in areas such as workforce management, employee relations, compensation strategy, career development, retention and leadership development, and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas. How You Will Impact * Understand Intapp's business model and objectives and contribute to the development of both business and HR strategies that align with objectives. * Drive informed decision making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues; develop organizational effectiveness solutions. * Identify and take action on coaching opportunities including the facilitation of individual, team and leadership interventions. * Partner with senior leadership and recruiting to develop workforce plans and staffing models that support business objectives and advance the business and functions. * Support the implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance. * Advance diversity and inclusion efforts for the business. * Provides consultation on employee engagement and retention designed to support the desired organizational culture. * Ensures effective leadership teams and benches through development, hiring, and coaching. * Provides advice and guidance on performance management including leadership development, accelerated development, succession planning, coaching talent reviews, and terminations. * Engage and influence senior management to support and implement HR initiatives across the organization. * Proactively work with client group and HR leadership to propose and drive new HR initiatives that align with business needs. What You Will Bring * 10+ years of broad HR experience including HR generalist experience and at least 8 years of Strategic Business Partner experience.
