Join us as a HR Business Partner Analyst, Investor Services
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an HR Business Partner Analyst, Investor Services to join our Human Resources team. In this role you will have ownership for a subset of a client group and serves as the primary contact for all employees and managers through the SVP level, and occasionally the MD level. The position will manage a wide range of employee related matters including workforce planning, talent management, compensation planning, career progressions and employee relations- escalating to the Sr HRBP as appropriate.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Primary point of contact for all employee related issues at the SVP and below level.
Participates in LOB committees representing HR (Talent, Recruiting, etc.) and meetings (division and department) to offer HR insight and perspective.
Leads the Talent Management Agenda for assigned client group which includes but not limited to: Talent Reviews & Succession Planning, reporting and analysis. Supports the broader talent management agenda for Division/LOB.
Works with managers to review job descriptions and complete job evaluations in partnership with Compensation.
Supports assigned client group with the BBH Performance Management program through coaching with goal setting and assessments and facilitates calibration of ratings.
Oversees the annual compensation cycle for assigned client group and advises on merit and bonus recommendations consistent with employee performance and Firm guidelines.
Works with Managers to implement workforce planning based on budget and business need.
Oversees and coordinates Career Progression review and approval process for assigned client group.
Identifies opportunities to familiarize LOB managers with HR Technology, e.g. Workday self- service tools and reporting.
Produces data & analytics required to support LOB/Pillar/Product talent agenda.
Prepares analysis, executive summary and insights on workforce trends including turnover, diversity, mobility etc. for distribution to Partners, MDs, & Leadership teams.
Work with HRMIS to respond to requests for custom & adhoc reporting and analysis needed to support LOB
Understands HR processes beyond the HRBP team, identify & escalate opportunities for improvement that support LOB goals & objectives, a better client experience, and are aligned with the HR strategy and objectives.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
3 + years of relevant Human Resources experience
Knowledge of Human Resources functions and processes
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Effective negotiation and influencing skills
Some experience developing, building and maintaining strong business partnerships
Strong detail orientation
Ability to manage multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Effective leadership, communication, organizational and change management skills
Ability to execute HR solutions to business issues
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Experience working with HR Systems, Workday preferred
Reporting and analysis skills
