ATS is seeking an experienced and results-driven HR business partner to join our team as we continue to scale. As an HRBP you will help align HR initiatives and business objectives with our regional operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, agility to navigate business needs through an HR lens, and exceptional strategic thinking. The HR business partner should improve HR initiatives, enhance staff morale, contribute to attaining business goals, and promote good HR practices.

Successful candidates will have experience working in a matrix organization where you can create harmony between HR and the business. You will report into your function and serve the greater ATS need.


As an HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Serve as a partner to the Regional Operations leadership and site leadership in providing thoughtful input on business issues and people-related actions

  • Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business strategy

  • Act as a change agent through process design and approaches that support change and transformation

  • The HRBP is responsible for all Human Resource functions at the site level and serves as a consultant and coach to managers and supervisors regarding HR issues

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with leaders to develop solutions and programs

  • Provide day-to-day coaching to field HRGs and station managers on a variety of actions, including employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and application, talent management, and development

  • Administer employee investigations to resolve workforce situational issues, including gathering appropriate documentation, conducting employee interviews, and advising management regarding results. Provide recommendations for resolution based on investigatory outcomes; actively participate in administering resolution through employee/supervisor counseling, documenting, as applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring local level HR audits and compliance requirements are adhered to

  • Ensure HR metrics are achieved and reported out to region leadership

  • May assist with prescreening candidate applications and resumes for required skills; experience and knowledge to fit position requirements

  • Be an essential part of our station start-up initiatives

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Support employee development and station leadership development goals

  • Plan strategic HR initiatives

  • Onboard HR talent in your region and provide local station management onboarding in the field for ATS assimilation into our business

  • Co-manage new hire orientation and onboarding processes

  • Provide overarching performance management alignment for salaried team members

  • Support direct labor annual merit common focal point process

  • Maintain employee relations

  • Update policies and practices


  • Minimum 4 years' experience direct HR regional leadership in an HRBP management role

  • Startup experience preferred

  • Experience working in multi-state organizations

Required Skills/Competencies

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships across the organization

  • Demonstrated consistency between words and actions and holds others accountable for doing so

  • Comfortable asserting his/her ideas and opinions to influence decisions

  • Ability to create clear and concise presentations to support ideas and address issues utilizing data

  • Demonstrated ability to address difficult issues and coach others in addressing concerns

As needed, collaborate with line leadership and Ethics &amp; Compliance to resolve complex employee relations matters.
