The HR Business Manager will provide ongoing support to the distribution and manufacturing sites with regard to all Talent Management processes.

  • Responsible for execution of Talent Management processes for Llano, RC Taylor, and Praters

  • Provides support in the areas of employee relations, legal compliance, policies and procedure development

  • Serves as a Talent Management resource and consultant for Team Member issues and the progressive discipline process

  • Make regular site visits to build relationships and provide support with Talent Management processes

  • Recruit and provide further support for interviewing and retaining "difficult to fill" and high turnover positions

  • Coach and develop Talent Management Coordinators and Supervisors in all areas of Talent Management

  • Serves as resource for effective interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding processes

  • Serve as primary contact for Talent Management programs including Performance Review System, Applicant Tracking System, and Employment Screenings

  • All other duties as requested or required by supervisor

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources field or other relevant experience

  • Prior experience in managing in a distribution or manufacturing environment desired

  • SHRM/HRCI Credentials preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • Skilled in conflict management resolution

  • Skilled in interviewing techniques

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Presentation experience is preferred

  • Knowledgeable of state and federal laws regarding employment practices

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally

  • Ability to gain trust, respect and buy-in from all levels of the organization

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and work well with others

  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude

  • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
