ON Semiconductor is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our global organizations and senior leadership in our Phoenix, AZ location. You will work closely with a business leadership to ensure HR programs and services support and drive ON Semiconductor's business objectives.

We are seeking someone with a solid HR business partner background with demonstrated high level change management experience with strong data analytics skills and high level strategic thinking, to function as a business partner and engage in all aspects of human resources. The selected individual will be able to drive executive decision making through data analytics, drive cultural initiatives, build internal business partnerships, provide coaching to develop others, and offer creative solutions to business issues. This position requires understanding of federal and state HR related regulations and compliance procedures as well as comprehension and perspective relating to international HR.

Performance Objectives:

  • Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives, including driving them through the entire organization.

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic business initiatives and deliver results.

  • Utilization of data analytics by developing and interpreting metrics in order to drive decision making within the business and assist in achieving long term goals and strategies.

  • Coach leaders on policies, guidelines and initiatives.

  • Ensure proper implementation and execution of HR programs and initiatives through the entire global organization.

  • Partner with HR colleagues and COEs to ensure human capital practices, programs and processes support the strategies specific to the assigned client group(s).

  • Develop, partner or broker HR services and programs as required to address needs and change efforts within client groups.

  • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues. This may include conducting investigations in response to employee relations issues and recommend/implement courses of action based on investigation results.

  • Drive communication between HR and the Business Unit.

  • Be accountable for the creation and implementation of the company's workforce development program, including performance management components.

  • Strong project management skills with an ability to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of media and channels.

  • Advanced PC skills to include extensive and strong use of Excel and other programs (Windows, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint); strong writing skills; self-motivation; the ability to stay current with developments in the field; and the ability to work effectively independently or in teams.

  • Experience with Oracle, Oracle Cloud & SharePoint, a plus

  • BS/MS Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance or equivalent

  • 10 years HR experience as a business partner, as well as experience in leadership development, mergers & acquisitions, organizational development, change management, compensation, talent acquisition and development, and employee relations

  • Ability to influence and implement HR strategies, corp initiatives, and programs based on business needs in a positive manner and display strong business acumen

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and ability to influence leadership in a different direction when necessary

  • Ability to operate in a professional, positive, helpful and productive manner

  • A demonstrated high level of comfort interacting with all employee levels from individual contributor to executive

  • Proven experience in assisting and coaching senior leadership through change management

  • The ability to build trust among organizational leaders by driving performance-oriented results and effectively coordinating the resources of others to contribute to the organization's most pressing priorities.

  • The ability to be a high level strategic thinker utilizing business acumen and development of communication strategies, delivery on key initiatives, and execution on internal plans utilizing data analytics, internal/external factors
