Post Acute Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Clerk to join our team in Enola, Pa! The successful candidate will be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to identify and resolve benefit issues.
The Benefits Clerk answers team member's questions and records team member's enrollment in benefits and group insurance programs by performing the following duties:
Informs employees of eligibility, verifies validity of claim forms, and maintains benefit records.
Explains and interprets company insurance program to team members and dependents.
Answers questions regarding benefits and group insurance such as life, hospitalization, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
Assist team members with Benefit changes and enrollment, while resolving issues or opportunities.
Oversees ancillary Benefits such as short term and long-term disability and other related information.
Maintains LOA benefits process and dependent eligibility reports
Assists in special projects, as necessary.
Other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and explain benefits information to all levels of Hospital employees
The willingness and enthusiasm to perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
Computer literacy a must (Microsoft Word & Excel). Excellent customer service experience required.
Qualified individual must have a HIGH sense of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the position
