Role Description:

The HR Benefits Analyst candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR Benefits services to the entire US population of employees including offices in New York, Charlotte, Boston, Houston and San Francisco.


  • Administer employment verifications and visa verification letters (US & Domestic)

  • Analyze and report on employee travels and employee referrals

  • Partner with payroll to ensure benefit deductions are accurate and leave payments are made correctly and in a timely manner

  • Assist in administration of 401(k), benefit plans which includes management of eligibility and enrollments.

  • Respond to benefits-related inquiries from employees, HR and managers

  • Focus on process improvements for benefits administration tasks, and create/update process documents as needed

  • Respond to benefits-related inquiries from employees, HR and managers

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to gain credibility at all levels quickly; excellent relationship management skills.

  • Experience working effectively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and proactively contributing ideas, views and recommendations for best practices and process improvement.

  • Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy and strong attention to detail, while adhering to tight deadlines.

  • Pragmatic, results-driven and "can do" attitude is essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office

  • 1-4 years of work experience working

POSITION DESCRIPTION Essential Duties and Requirements * Responsible for customer service of Benefits; oversees; monitors calls; Benefits inbox; resolves issues; monitors/creates metrics; works directly with Sr. Specialists and Managers to ensure reasonable timeframes for issues resolution. * Complies with government and state regulations and plan provisions to ensure equitable administration to employees. * Processes/Approves qualifying status changes (determines validity; communicates with employees; updates Bswift). * Manages enrollment and education material for the Florida group * Manages Retiree medical: eligibility, communication, payments. * Manages payments for employees on LOA. * Administers evidence of insurability in accordance with plan rules. * Investigates and resolves eligibility file issues; researches and resolves file discrepancies reported by carriers. * Responsible for new hire dependent supporting document review and follow-up. * Provides policy interpretation and clarifies procedures to HR and Department management. * Assists in pension audits. * Assists in annual benefits open enrollment including plan design changes and testing; conducts open enrollment presentations. * Recommends improvements to procedures or systems to increase productivity and increase employee awareness. * Assists in identifying inefficiencies and areas in need of improvement. * Leads special projects as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned or perform other duties when necessary.
