  • Provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition team
  • Assist with answering HR related questions from employees
  • Aid with employment, background, and credit verifications
  • Problem resolution for general HR matters
  • Contribute to the recruitment effort by posting job ads, schedule interviews, administer assessments, prepare offer letters, monitor background investigations, and complete other administrative duties related to recruiting
  • Maintain HR related training documents

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of HR experience
  • Administrative experience in recruiting is a plus
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • An understanding of HR policies regarding interviewing, hiring, onboarding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Word and Excel

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines. Some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool if necessary.

Challenge accepted. Position Summary: With continued growth comes new opportunities. Due to that expansion, we are looking to add an HR Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. This person will work closely with our HR and recruitment team to provide administrative support. Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt Location: Headquarters (180th and Center) Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources Responsibilities: * Perform administrative and support activities for the HR department * Manage all job postings on all recruiting source sites to ensure uniformity, up to date information and maximum exposure * Initiate and monitor all aspects of new employee onboarding process * Complete pre-employment screening including employment & education verifications * Perform HRIS data entry and a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports * Develop and maintain administrative procedures for all system processes * Respond to employment reference checks and verifications of employment status * Maintain employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information as needed * Assist with reporting and analytics for all facets of recruiting and human resources * Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee information * Assist with miscellaneous project-based duties To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements: * Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, highly detail-oriented role * Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology & software * Ability to maintain an extremely high attention to detail & accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive material * Possess a self-starter mentality The ideal candidate will also meet the following qualifications: * Associates Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience * PHR certification Benefits Include: * Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance * Unlimited PTO * Paid holidays * 401(k) retirement plan with immediate vesting and company safe harbor matching * Career advancement opportunities * EXCEPTIONAL work environment! * Free laser hair removal All potential employees of Milan will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment background check prior to employment.
