Job Details


Performs routine clerical duties associated with recruiting employees for the distribution center. Maintains files and records pertaining to employees.


  • Performs HRIS functions for all hourly employees; may run reports from HRIS.

  • Maintains applicant data, records, and acknowledgement; prepares new hire paperwork.

  • Coordinates and maintains confidential personnel records.

  • Answers general human resource questions and inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, recruiting, and employee relations.

  • Processes applications, schedules interviews, assists with background checks and checks references.

  • Assists with reference checks, background checks, and random drug testing.

  • May log and process department bills and invoices.

  • Assists with new employee orientations.

  • Maintains accident reports, and workers compensation paperwork, and OSHA Logs

  • Maintains job postings.

  • May assist with fitness center registration.

  • Receives and distributes incoming department mail.

  • Maintains office supplies.

  • May act as primary backup to Switchboard Operator.

  • May order flowers, birthday cakes, etc. for distribution center employees.

  • May maintain and distribute staffing report for distribution center.



  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices; familiarity with distribution center positions.

  • Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and payroll systems such as Lawson and KRONOS.

  • Detail oriented.


  • Exposure to changing climatic conditions and extreme heat and cold.

  • Occasionally required to walk long distances within the distribution center.

  • Sitting for long periods of time in an office environment.

  • Bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling on a repetitious basis.

  • Fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities: * Conducts pre-invoice claims review to target and correct outlier claims, and to identify and exclude 340B provider claims * Conducts quarterly review of commonly disputed NDCs and established best practices to mitigate disputes for reviewed products * Establishes unit conversion factors for pharmacy to CMS unit type discrepancies * Creates and distributes quarterly invoices to participating drug manufacturers * Enters and reconciles rebate payments in drug rebate processing system * Maintains weekly payment log and validates its accuracy with client * Identifies, tracks, and negotiates resolutions of rebate disputes with participating drug manufacturers * Identifies tracks and sends collection notices to slow-paying and non-responding drug manufacturers * Creates standard and ad-hoc rebate reporting * Creates, reviews, and transmits quarterly mandated CMS reports to client; Reports include, but are not limited to, the 64.9R and Rebate Offset Amount * Creates, reviews, and transmits quarterly Medicaid Expansion and Family Planning services report to client * Educates pharmacy providers on claim billing issues * Ensures outlier claims are corrected in claims processing system * Researches drug file discrepancies between claims processing system and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quarterly drug file * Assists in maintaining the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS-CPT) code to National Drug Code (NDC) crosswalk * Provides expertise in the development and enhancement of claims systems * Assists in identifying and developing new products and services * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, OR 5 years of financial and/or accounting experience * Proficient skills in MS Excel and other MS Office products Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills * Experience working in a PBM environment * Experience with medical billing * Previous Pharmacy experience * A current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) Careers with Optum.
