Overview

The Crew Resources Coordinator provides design, project management, and administrative support to all of the functional areas of the Crew Resources Department. He/she works diligently to successfully complete all assigned initiatives, activities and functions for the entire Crew Resources Department. He/she ensures appropriate level of communication and assistance is maintained so that the supervisors are supported as needed/necessary. The CR Coordinator makes many professional interactions and must maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Crew Resources:

  • Receives employment verification requests; responds to requests by providing only the information allowed by Cane's policies and procedures

  • Files New Hire paperwork and other incoming paperwork into the active filing system; re-files terminated Crew into the appropriate terminated filing system; maintains separate I-9 filing system

  • Assisting with Cane's Love Projects

  • Research new ideas to show appreciation to Crewmembers

Project Management:

  • Reviews and revises Crew Resource policies and procedures

  • Prepares and maintains internal and external reports/processes as requested/necessary

  • Follows through to completion with delegated assignments

  • Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program or section area

  • Participates on cross-functional project teams

Internal and External Support:

  • Provides support to Restaurant Support Office and Restaurants regarding Crew Resource functions

  • Functions as an assistant to Crew Resources

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Department Project Tracking and Scheduling:

  • Maintains tracking of a departmental projects

  • Conducts periodic audits of Crew Resource activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent experience

  • 1 2 years of office/administrative related experience

  • 6 months - 2 years of entry level experience in Human Resources preferred

  • Expertise in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
