HR Assistant Robert Half's OfficeTeam is seeking an Human Resources Assistant for our client in Batavia. The Human Resources Assistant must be able to perform the following responsibilities:
JOB REQUIREMENTS: ? Provide administrative support for the day to day operations of human resources to ensure the efficient delivery of HR information systems transactions, recruitment processes, the accuracy of employee data, benefits administration, statistical reporting, HR procedures and policies, and payroll preparation. ? The HR Assistant liaises closely with the HR Director and the Accounting department and provides customer focused and effective HR support to all departments within the organization to achieve the organizations goals and objects. ? Track source documentation needed for new hires and effective changes in pay, status or benefits. Input the HRIS source data into the Paychex HR system. ? Track benefits eligible and paid time off availability, send out the appropriate letters to employees and managers and keep paid time off and benefits records up to date. Process benefits enrollments. ? Assist Human Resources Director and preparing for and administering open enrollment for all benefits programs each year, including establishing eligibility to meet ACA requirements and determining proper deductions for medical, dental and vision costs. ? Interpret, assist and advise employees and managers regarding applications, leave management and benefits administration, as well as HR procedures and policies. ? Monitor, schedule and conduct employee orientation's monthly.
Strong computer skills are required. Either a bachelor's in Human Resources or a related field or 1-2 years of experience is required. Excellent communication skills are required to communicate across different departments.
