Within the HR Global Organization and in strong coordination with the Global Finance Organization, the Analytics & Controlling specialist will be responsible for:

  • Integrating & harmonizing Analytics & Controlling fundamentals within Symrise entities globally

  • Assuring the accuracy and availability of HR data & HR KPIs

  • Providing and monitoring personnel costs and FTEs analysis & planning

This role will be based in our Saddle Brook office working a hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site and 2 days from home.

Analytics

  • Provide Global Dashboards & Segment/Division dashboards with appropriate analysis

  • Set and share the relevant KPIs within Symrise entities globally

  • Provide support and training to End Users with regards to Workday HRIS tool and all the analytics reports

  • Contribute to Workday continual improvement providing requirements, tests and support to the HR analysts/Functional Modul owner

Reporting & Controlling

  • In close collaboration with HR & Finance Operations and Business partners, provide Monthly, Quarterly, and annual reporting & analysis in terms of FTE & Personnel Costs in comparison with budget and prior year data.

  • Manage HR Cost structure (PCR Cost centers) in close collaboration with Finance stakeholders, and Comp & ben CoE to ensure that People & respective costs are well allocated and allow the correct understanding and analysis

  • Contribute to some HR or Finance projects such as Cost saving plan, new acquisitions

integration, additional costs management, contingent workers follow up, etc

  • Implement Global HR Reporting for all Symrise Entities and Divisions of the region

  • Collaborate with Global, Regional HRBPs & local HR in term of KPIs

  • HR cost Controlling for all entities of the region

Planning

  • Lead & Coordinate the HR Reforecast(S) & HR Budget to guarantee the accuracy of the data & analysis, respecting the group guidelines

  • Ensure the HR Budget throughout the year in a rolling forecast

Knowledge Sharing

  • Guarantee local support and expertise for HR teams and business management with regards to Analytics & Controlling approach and fundamentals

  • Train and share knowledge with HR as a result of Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Economics or other relevant disciplines. Master's degree preferred.

  • 5 + years of HR controlling or analytics in a dynamic and multinational matrix environment

  • Advanced Excel Experience required, including analysis, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data

manipulation, etc.

  • Experience working in a high volume environment

  • Cost-oriented, analytical, Financial & HRIS accumen; experience in project management

  • Experience with reporting via Workday required

  • Experience with SAP, Microstrategy, is a plus

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus.
