HR Advisor (12-Month Maternity Cover)

What would you do as our HR Advisor

As a HR Advisor you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive human resources support to the organisation. This position involves working closely with management, employees, and other HR professionals to address various HR-related matters. The HR Advisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, handling employee relations issues, and supporting the overall well-being and development of the workforce.

You would also:

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.

  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, conflicts, and concerns, as well as assisting with Disciplinary and grievances

  • Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.

  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making as well as monitoring HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a HR certification e.g. CIPD (desirable)

  • Has experience in HR roles with a focus on employee relations and general HR functions.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
