Key Responsibilities

  • Regional HR Admin Support

  • Digitalization of employee files and maintenance

  • Support to new hire processing (processing new hires, consolidation of onboarding paperwork, and confirmation of new hire checklists)

  • Support to talent acquisition for hourly positions

  • Termination processing, including termination checklists

  • Employment verifications and unemployment data request responses

  • Provide support to internal and external audit requests

  • US Benefits HR Admin Support

  • Manage, maintain and review US Benefit Documents in Sharepoint

  • Monthly benefit invoicing

  • Benefit compliance support - ACA reporting, creditable coverage notices, EEO-1 reporting, QDRO's, QMCSO's, etc.

  • Support to open enrolment - file reviews (data scrubbing), support communication materials and communication updates

  • Manage our general benefits email address and assist with communications

  • Field employee questions and direct to appropriate resources

  • Manage service anniversaries

  • SuccessFactors

  • New hire support

  • General Data Entry and regional HRBP support

  • Ongoing data review and clean up

Required Skills

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in HR/payroll environment

  • Good understanding of HR/payroll processes

  • Basic knowledge of local employment laws

  • Strong communication and listening skills

  • Time management

  • Experience with SAP preferred, not required

Education, Certifications & Licenses

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Studies preferred

This information is sent to the Readiness Cost Reporting Platform (RCRP) and used for platform Commanders’ assessments reflected in the Defense Readiness Reporting System – Strategic (DRRS-S). This readiness information includes:</p><ul> <li>Platform personnel readiness measures, including billets filled, personnel available for deployment, and personnel fit to fill measures for the platform billet</li> <li>Administrative status, including Individual Medical Readiness information</li> <li>Personnel Readiness Training completion status, including baseline medical currency and expeditionary medicine individual training defined in the Navy Medicine Proficiency Checklists, as defined per specialty by the Navy Medical Force Development Center (NFMDC)</li> </ul><p>As previously stated, the sustaining team will be responsible for on-going operations, management of the agile development process, defect fixes and minor feature extensions, and prioritized enhancements. Examples of a feature extension would be adding new data elements to reports, adding or modifying current reporting filters, moving, adding or changing how data is displayed in a profile page for an individual service member, integrating new data sources into the database. On-going enhancements could also be driven by policy changes such as making changes to existing business logic that computes Platform, Administrative, Training Metrics, or changes to policy such as personnel primary subspecialty.</p><p>The new EMPARTS platform is a sophisticated, modern software application that requires a sustaining development team, a development infrastructure with the appropriate tools, and appropriate development processes.
