The Opportunity

Berkadia is seeking a versatile and highly organized team member to support our HR Team! The HR Operations Associate role encompasses different areas of HR, including HRIS, employee data, compliance, and administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily support needed to ensure a successful HR Management system (ADP Workforce Now). Enters employee data, ensures department procedures are followed for new hires, data changes, and separations. Verifies data entered into HRIS (ADP) by managers and employees.

  • Complete new hire processes including SSN verification and Form I9 completion

  • Process background check orders through our third-party vendor and monitor completion.

  • Provide quality customer support to employees of Berkadia, answering questions and sharing information about Berkadia's resources.

  • Completes employment verification.

  • Coordinates Harassment Prevention Training annually.

  • Personnel File management. Maintains confidentiality of financial information, insurance and litigation documents, employee information (e.g. wage information, discipline, health information) and other sensitive and confidential information.

  • HR Department Invoicing

  • Submission of expenses, travel coordination, scheduling meetings, conference registration, etc.;

  • Reviewing business card requests, confirming information and accept/reject orders for printing;

  • Maintaining and replenishing office supply inventories for department;

  • Accepts and processes FedEx deliveries for Human Resources team as needed

  • Developing content for employee intranet site and creating additional forms of communication and collateral for events (flyers, posters, etc.)

  • Ensures employment poster compliance at all US locations. Communicating updates and ensuring office managers about what they need to do. Vendor management and financial/invoicing review.

  • Review and filing of all incoming inquiries/employee messages to general HR inbox.

What is required for this role

  • 2-4 years prior HR experience and a High school degree or equivalent. Associates degree or higher is preferred.

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Highly attentive to detail; detail oriented

  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality

  • Flexible with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business

  • Proficient or highly proficient in technical abilities such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and HRIS systems (ADP WFN or PeopleSoftHR experience preferred)

VIEW JOBS 8/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-12T00:00 JOB SUMMARY The Closing Administrator is responsible for assisting the Closing department with respect to the daily duties and responsibilities of the Closing department. The Closing Administrator will work independently and along with other Closing Department personnel on pre-closing, closing, post –closing and delivery matters. Other responsibilities will include tracking third party reports, uploading closing documents, tracking post-closing documents and maintaining and updating various databases, as needed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Remit original recorded documentation to Investor/document custodian; * Assist Closers in the Committing and Delivery functions; * Disseminate applicable closing documents to next stage parties, e.g. closing coordinators, attorneys, borrowers, servicing, etc.; * Tracking third- party reports and post-closing documents; * Uploading closing documents required by New Loan Boarding; * Review New Loan Boarding delinquent reports and coordinate timely response thereto; * Assist the closing department with business needs as they come due. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma, GED/equivalent certification or equivalent military experience; Bachelor's degree preferred; * Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in an administrative capacity; * Proficiency in computer applications using Microsoft Office Suite and Visio; * Excellent customer service skills (both verbal and written); * Must show good judgment, initiative, and decision-making abilities; * Must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, market-driven work environment, while remaining motivated and focused completing business critical duties; * Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team; * Detail and process oriented; motivated to maintain high degree of accuracy; * Strong organizational and communication skills; * Must be flexible to assist with additional projects that are introduced based on the needs of the department; Hendricks Berkadia Ambler PA
