BBSI has partnered with an amazing organization seeking a contract HR Administrator.
M-F 8am
Position Requirements: 2+ years in Human Resources, Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance. We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for supporting management level staff within the Department identifying and developing HR policies and procedures. They will handle the majority of employee documentation, including contractual agreements, recruitment paperwork and compliance. The Human Resource Administrator is responsible for the development and use of the HRIS system; ensuring full compliance of system data and schedules/facilitates auditing as needed for legal as well as state/federal compliance.
Responsibilities include policy and procedure identification and development, document management, recruitment, HR reporting, and mandatory training compliance.
Essential Functions:
Manages own time and resources to achieve identified objectives; is diligent in meeting all communicated/defined deadlines. Monitors and updates tickets/tasks/activities assigned to them in company CRM.
Identifies, develops, manages, and ensures compliance with all state/federal mandatory employment training such as safety, harassment, etc.
Identifies, documents and maintains all policy and procedures for the HR Department. Continually audits and modifies processes for department operational efficiency.
Assists in the design, development and updating of all Human Resource Handbooks and documentation. Ensures Management is kept informed of any/all policy changes.
Oversees and maintains optimal functions of the HRIS, which may include installation, setup, customization, maintenance, and upgrades. Provides support and guidance to HRIS users as well as manages any needed permissions and settings for users.
Complies and develops HR reporting and summaries for management, ownership and HR department members.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with Division/Department Managers to understand job roles and duties.
Manages and facilitates the onboarding of all new hires; ensures compliance with all Pre-Hire documentation and processes as well as day of hire expectations. Develops and coordinates an impactful New Hire orientation program that partners with New Hire training and specific on-boarding paths.
Handles all employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and management. Identifies complex and/or sensitive matters that need to be escalated to appropriate team members.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes, performance management
Punctuality and regular attendance
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, daily
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
Move/Transport items weighing 20 pounds, occasionally
Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
