Bed Bath & Beyond is in need of a self-motivated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support our busy HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front desk, and administrative support for the HR Department with the day-to-day operations. The HR Assistant will provide the additional support, including but not limited to:
75% of time will be spent as front desk associate performing tasks such as:
Meet and greet visitors and associates.
Answer basic questions and reroute incoming calls.
Help maintain information, birthday, communications boards throughout lobby and main offices.
Make copies, sort, organize front desk materials.
25% of time will be spent in HR office performing tasks such as:
Maintaining physical personnel records.
Enter employment data, update databases with new hire information.
Provide guidelines and FAQ documents about company policy
Assist with hiring process, including publishing job postings, scheduling job interviews, and set up new hire orientation
Provide our associates support with myHR Self Service system
Help with ad hoc projects
Respond to employees' questions about benefits (for example, number of vacation days they're eligible for)
Other similar duties as assigned
