Introduction:

Job Title: HQ USAF/A3 Irregular Warfare Advisor

Job Location: Arlington, VA

Security Clearance: Secret

Overview / Job Responsibilities:

U.S.

Air Force Headquarters / A3O is responsible for employment of Air Advisor capabilities, managing Joint level Irregular Warfare tasks, and supporting the Expeditionary Readiness Program (ERP) Executive Authority requires additional support.

Provide operational expertise in the areas of deployment / expeditionary readiness, education, and training. Efforts require close working relationship with Air Education and Training Command to enable easy flow of decision level information to the Director of Operations and Readiness.

Develop and /or review training requirements for Air Force military and civilian person deploying to OCONUS operational areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Three (3) years of recent and/or current experience in supporting OCO, long term and future architecture planning efforts

  • Prior DoD deployment readiness experience

  • At least 2 years HQ USAF Staff or MAJCOM experience involving personnel deployment

  • Experience with Air Expeditionary Forces taskings

Additional Information:

Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field * 0-1+ year of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments * 0-1+ year of experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information * Experience improving Federal accounting and transaction process, internal control objectives and generally accepted accounting principles * Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reporting requirements. * Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives * Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience * Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools * Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role Preferred: * Consulting experience in any of the following areas: business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, financial system integrations, etc. * Familiarity with U.S. government financial accounting systems * Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA How you'll grow At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
