Job Description
Assist in the operation of the Housing Rehabilitation Program. The Housing Rehabilitation Specialist will qualify applicants to the program, conduct technical home inspections, develop project construction specifications and cost estimates, prepare bid specifications, monitor/inspect projects, and complete environmental review documentation.
Assist in the operation of the Rental Inspection Program with the Community Development Coordinator and staff of the Building and Zoning Divisions. The Housing Rehabilitation Specialist will ensure compliance with City Ordinances and the International Property Maintenance Codes and will work with the Community Development Coordinator to manage documentation requirements of program.
