Providence is calling a Housing Program Manager who will work onsite in our office in Anchorage, AK.

The Housing Program Manager represents and embodies the compassionate mission of the Supportive Housing Ministry which provides quality affordable housing to the most vulnerable members of our society. As the property leader, the Housing Program Manager will ensure compliance with all regulations and financial objectives of the specific ministry, while referencing the Mission and Core Values of Providence as a guide to all management activities. This person has the long-term viability of the property and residents as the motivation for any initiatives and programming that they oversee. The ability to communicate and execute this vision with staff, contractors, and residents, is essential to success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field, or 5 years experience in affordable housing management or other related field.

  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (either Quadel or NCHM) certification within 1 year of hire.

  • 2 years of experience in a housing, social service or healthcare organization or work with elderly and/or disabled.

  • Experience in supervision and effective management of staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
