Description of Work
This position has sole responsibility for all the housing and home improvement functions in the Service Operations Section including policy development, monitoring for program compliance, assisting with housing inquiries, and provision of technical assistance/consultation to the aging network housing service providers with respect to the Housing/Home Improvement service standards under the Home and Community Care Block Grant. This position provides information and assistance to the general public and older adults regarding housing and home repair modification services and affordable housing. This position manages the Operation Fan Heat Relief Program with the private utility companies.

Demonstrated skills and knowledge of housing programs/resources, particularly related to older adults and disabled adults.
Experience in collecting and analyzing data and information, explaining and interpreting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Experience in programmatic compliance monitoring and/or quality assurance.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of related experience; or Bachelor s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
