Classification Title Temporary Service/Maintenance FLSA Non-Exempt UGA Job Code FTE 1.00 Minimum Qualifications Position Summary

This position provides support for housekeepers and laundry personnel. Responsibilities include stocking housekeeping closets with linen and supplies, delivering linen and supplies to housekeepers, removing dirty linen and trash from housekeeper carts, and removing dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms. This position also assists with laundry responsibilities such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and towels.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

• Hotel experience preferred.

• Customer service/guest interaction experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Stand on feet and walk for long periods of time

• Reach, bend, stoop, and squat

• Push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 pounds

• Lift linen, equipment, and furniture weighing up to 50 pounds
