Job Description:

To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, and in support of university functions, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and assigned keys.

Work Schedule: 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of general housekeeping procedures and related equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation.

Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 libs and frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping.

Ability to effectively read and write.

Valid driver's license desired.
