Your New Opportunity:The Housekeeping Supervisor willmonitor all aspects of employee activity to ensure the highestquality in cleanliness and service. The supervisor is alsoresponsible for inspecting all guest rooms after the guest roomattendants have finished cleaning and checking all clean/vacantrooms daily. We are looking for a compassionate leader whounderstands the nature of housekeeping work and can consistentlymotivate, assist, and uplift their team. You are a self-starterwho will be the glue that holds the housekeeping teams together.

What You Will Tackle:

  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge allguests, however busy and whatever time of day.

  • Observing guest reactions and conferring frequently with teammembers to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guestcomplaints to over-the-moon satisfaction.

  • Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items.

  • Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team memberaccidents or injuries and in emergency situations.

  • Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.

  • Encourage Social Media/5-star compliments or reviews on OTA's.

  • Embrace and exemplify the SCP Culture & Core Values in yourday-to-day job duties.

  • Supervise daily operations in maintenance and sanitation of theguestrooms, public areas, and pool

  • Recommend and implement procedural changes.

  • Complete monthly inventories of linen supplies, and equipment.

  • Investigate new and improved cleaning methods and instruments.

  • Regularly perform inspections of guest rooms upon completion.

  • Train new team members according to SCP HousekeepingStandards.

  • Ensure guest over-the-moon satisfaction by certifying thatguest rooms are inspecting sparkling-clean,obsessively-organized.

  • Perform turndown service or other actions to prepare the roomfor imminent guest arrival (turning on lights and heat in coldweather, etc).

  • Clean extra rooms above daily quota upon request.

  • Organizing, maintaining, and taking inventory of linens,cleaning supplies/equipment, and amenities.

  • Keep all supplies, cleaning materials, and clean linens secure,free of clutter and hazards, and in assigned storage areas whereothers can find them and prevent losses or damages.

  • Ensure equipment and facilities are inspected, cleaned, and inproper operational conditions at all times.

  • Appropriately notifying an Engineer of maintenance issues.

  • Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment arein complete readiness for service.

  • Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmentalpolicies, service procedures, and standards.

  • Assist in providing suitable training, reinforcement, andcoaching for team members, as necessary.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to guide and direct teammembers to achieve established goals and objectives.

  • Promote teamwork and quality service through dailycommunication and coordination with other departments.

  • Cultivate collaborative, mutually supportive relationships withother departments and co-workers.

  • Monitor team members' interaction with guests, ensuring promptand courteous service; resolve discrepancies with respective teammembers. Report discrepancies to Manager.

  • Assist in the preparation of and communicate any adjustments tothe weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelinesand labor forecasts.

  • Coordinate breaks and assign work duties to team members.

  • Ensure that team members report to work as scheduled. Documentany late or absent team members. Report attendance issues toManager.

  • Participate in pre-shift meetings with team members and reviewall information pertinent to the day's business.

  • Assist team members with their job functions to ensure optimumservice to guests.

  • Cultivate the SCP Culture & Core Values by leading our teammembers to a deeper understanding of our brand. Encourage teammember buy-in and reward team member ownership of the SCPCulture.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Essentials:

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • 2 years leadership experience in housekeeping or inspectionpreferred." />
