Housekeeping Supervisor - Lakeview Commons Assisted Living

Lakeview Commons Assisted Living is located at 1422 West 29th Street, Loveland, CO. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable home while assisting residents with activities of daily living that become difficult due to illness or the aging process.

We are now accepting applications for the Housekeeping Supervisor position able to work:

• Full-time

• Monday through Friday (possible weekends)

• Schedule to be discussed at interview

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct, assign and oversee the housekeeping department

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas

• Works alongside employees to ensure tasks are completed on time; inspecting completed work

• Training new employees in the techniques to be used when cleaning various parts of the facility

• Checking materials and equipment; assisting with ordering and distributing supplies and equipment

• Maintain accurate records; and complete necessary reports

• Replenishes supplies to janitorial closets and linen closets throughout the facility

• Removes infectious waste from utility room

• Demonstrate equipment use, proper handling care and safety

• Assume regular housekeeping duties for absent housekeepers

• Always observes Universal Precautions-wearing applicable PPE

• Responsible for following all policies, procedures and the training of staff with regards to all infection control processes

• If applicable, help serve food trays in dining room

• If applicable, supervise and assists with laundry, as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GEC preferred

• Interested in working with the geriatric population

• Able to work independently and with a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages $17 - $19/hr. depending on experience
