COMPENSATION: $16.00/hr.
LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane
SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and setting up rooms for special events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain building by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, dusting, and polishing floors
- Maintain restroom areas clean
- Sweep and mop floors
- Refill all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap
- Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters
- Empty/remove the trash
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders to prepare facilities for events such as auctions and meetings
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled
- Dispose of garbage
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma required
- 1+ years of experience in a janitorial work environment
- Strong ability to follow written and oral instruction
- The individual will consistently lift to 50 pounds
