Overland Park Regional Medical Center is one of the premiere medical facilities in Johnson County. The hospital is a licensed 343-bed facility offering acute and outpatient medical care services to the Overland Park community and the surrounding areas since December of 1978. Under direction of Environmental Services Director, ensures appropriate staffing and efficient performance of EVS staff to uphold cleanliness, infection control and patient safety standards for the hospital. Builds an EVS team atmosphere by assisting director in hiring of staff, training of staff and staff development. Ensures proper equipment and supplies are used in accordance with infection control and patient safety standards.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak, read, and
write the English language fluently.
Ability to work as part of a team in an atmosphere that can be both fast
paced high pressure and slow paced low pressure.
Ability to operate autonomously on a varying set of tasks.
Requires mobility and ability to move, lift, push, and pull equipment &
Experience: Two years as EVS Technician; EVS lead or supervisor experience preferred.
