What youll do
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Make beds and fold sheets
Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
Greet guests and take care of requests
Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and floor care duties

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, well ask you to complete safety training and certification.

Position Summary The Turn Down Supervisor will maintain areas of responsibility by constant inspection, reporting and follow up in line with TLN standards. Service Standards: * Eye contact should be made at a distance of no less than 10 feet from every guest * A genuine smile should be offered at a distance of no less than 5 feet from every guest * Employees should build rapport with guests during any conversation, if the guest responds to the initial statement with a conversational demeanor * Guest last name is used effectively, but discreetly, as a signal of recognition as least once and not more than twice during any conversation with guests * Before concluding conversations, the guest is verbally offered additional assistance with a statement relevant to the guest's individual needs Essential Functions of the Job: * Check with the morning manager or supervisor for room status to follow up, and update front office with room status * Check all public areas for proper appearance * Run on occupancy report to do the turn down assignments * Report to shift on time * Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook * Direct and assist in assigning work to personal * Supervise and inspect so that housekeeping service consistently meets the Little Nell standards * Spot check all public areas and follow up as needed and make recommendations for the next shift * Make sure all door outlets are secure * Verify that all lost and found is logged daily * Monitor guest request to be perform on a timely basis * These areas are not limited to other combinations * Check the storage for all supplies once per week on Mondays * Ability to keep ongoing inventory of cleaning supplies in stock by notifying Supervisor * Maintain clean and organized storage areas * Ability to understand the safety aspects and be in compliance with OSHA on cleaning chemicals, mixing, and storing * Report all maintenance requests and mechanical deficiencies Additional Job Duties: * Must be able to work any day from 3:30 pm – 11:00 pm or 12:00 am depending on occupancy levels (i.e. winter holidays) * Make manager aware of guest's comments and complaints * Has friendly and polite attitude towards guests and co-workers * Must be detail oriented and like to clean * Must adhere to all hotel policies and procedures * Attend all schedules meetings and perform other tasks asked by management * Comply with all policies and procedures for the Housekeeping Department, The Little Nell, and Aspen Skiing Company * Is familiar with Hotel fire and safety procedures * Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management * Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand Education, Experience, Skills: * Previous experience preferred, especially with Janitorial equipment and chemicals. * Must be able to read and write. * Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. * Luxury hotel background experience preferred.
