You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: You must be able to perform the following duties without more than normal supervision (Screen Out).Your resume must demonstrate your knowledge, skills and abilities in performing the following types of tasks: WG-3:

Follow oral or written instructions and/or work orders; perform janitorial/custodial, and grounds maintenance duties, including mopping, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning walls, ceilings, room partitions and polishing fixtures; emptying trash receptacles. Cleanup spills, debris, and litter from common areas; and remove soiled and/ or contaminated items following strict procedures to prevent cross contamination. You may need to lift and move heavy objects weighing over 50 pounds.

You may need to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors. You may need to bend, stoop, walk, stand and climb. Subject to exposure to infectious diseases in the clinic, danger of falling off stepladders when cleaning high areas, hanging drapery or curtains.

Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:

Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
